Capas para blocos / Fabrics covers

Depois de quase duas semanas sem carregar no pedal da máquina de costura e com algumas saudades, chegou a altura e acabar alguns projectos que estava a meio. Um desses projectos são estas capas para bloco de apontamentos com o respectivo separador.
After almost two weeks without the pedal sewing machine and with some nostalgia, the time has come and finish some projects that were in the middle. One of these projects are skins for a scrapbook with the appropriate tab.

Chegámos a casa e encontramos estas novidades:

um ninho de andorinha mesmo à nossa porta e por cima da campainha do alarme;
e a nossa horta muito crescidinha.

Compras coloridas / Colorful shopping

Descobri uma retrosaria onde há de tudo o que possam imaginar e está situada a 4 minutos da minha casa. É uma retrosaria antiga daquelas cheias de gavetas e prateleiras onde há de tudo. Entrar e poder abrir e fechar gavetas e gavetas cheias de cor, ver fitas e fitinhas, botões e mais botões, acessórios de tudo o que vos pode passar pela cabeça é algo de mágico.
Numa primeira visita consegui resistir a muita coisa mas ainda trouxe um saco cheio de cor de algumas coisas que já andava à procura à algum tempo.

Mas o melhor de tudo é saber que quando precisar de alguma coisa tenho a certeza que lá há...

Mochos / Owls

Adoro-os...
Pertinho da minha casa há um casal que faz o ninho num tronco e que por volta das 18h o macho está sempre a dar-me as boas vindas num fio de electricidade. Na casa dos meus sogro e de à 6 anos para cá, têm um casal que faz o seu ninho num dos troncos de oliveira que eles têm no jardim e no fim de Maio, início de Junho conseguimos ver os "putos", i.e.,mochos bébés, a brincarem por alí.
Estes são uns mochinhos feitos de tecido que habitam no tronco do meu jardim. Espero que gostem porque eu adorooooooooooo-os.

Jogo das Sílabas / Game of Syllables

O que é que uma mãe faz quando vê que a filha não quer "perder" tempo a aprender as sílabas e traz um ditado para casa com alguns erros?

Críamos o Jogo das Sílabas. Nada mais fácil e divertido. Peguei na tabela das sílabas, ampliei, colei em cartolina rija rosa, cortei aos rectângulos, dei pontuação através do sistema de bolinhas (cada bolinha um ponto), arranjei um caixinha lá do trabalho, fiz um mini-bloco para apontar os jogadores e os respectivos pontos e voilá... o Jogo das Sílabas está pronto.
Mostrei à M., jogamos e ela adorou... tenho que jogar todas as noites.

A M. é um pouquinho preguiçosa e eu estou sempre a insistir para fazer os trabalhos de casa, a brincar às contagens para lá e para cá, a tentar formatar o seu "disco rígido" que é preciso trabalhar para chegar mais longe. Mas garanto... vida de mãe não é fácil.

Horta / Home Garden

O sol começa a espreitar e os campos já estão cheios de flores para onde quer que se olhe. A minha pequena horta está cheia de daninhas mas já é tempo de cultivar. Muito embora ainda tenha alguns legumes congelados da colheita do ano passado, nomeadamente tomates que congelei e que têm dado origem a deliciosos refugados, começa a ser tempo de cultivar novamente. O J. já começou a passar na terra o moto-cultivador e não tarda a terra está pronta para ser plantada e semeada; para este ano espero plantar:
- tomate Cherry (os miúdos adoram);
- tomate chucha (óptimo para saladas e refugados);
- courgete (excelente para sopas);
- hortelã (caí sempre bem em saladas, doces, entre outras coisas);
- abóbora (sopa, doce, etc, etc...);
- alface frisada e roxa (todos adoramos saladas);
- pimentos verdes e vermelhos (adoro cozinhar com pimentos).

Saia / Skirt

À muito tempo que nos apetecia fazer uma saia com aplicações de tecido; não foi tarde nem cedo... vamos fazer ma saia. Começamos por escolher o molde, depois o tecido e por último as aplicações que queríamos. Foi uma noite de corta e cose mas mesmo assim ainda foi preciso desmanchar e fazer uns ajustes, refazer a baínha e coser novamente o cós. A saia em si ainda não está pronta mas aqui ficam as fotos da elaboração da mesma. Quando esta estiver pronta coloco a foto aqui.
